The Opportunity

Are you a hands on HR professional who thrives on building things from the ground up? We are looking for an HR Business Partner to lead the HR function for a brand new facility launch in Mickleham, Victoria. Joining a global logistics leader during a period of significant expansion, you will have the rare opportunity to shape a major site's people strategy from day one!

About your role:

• Lead the HR Launch: Own the process for a new facility, establishing site culture, local workflows, and HR infrastructure from scratch.

• Autonomy: Act as the primary people lead on the ground and providing expert advice.

• Hands-on IR/ER: Manage all industrial and employee relations independently, ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act and relevant Modern Awards.

• Operational: Partner with operations to manage workforce planning and seasonal scaling.

• Drive Growth: Facilitate talent development and performance coaching to build a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

About You

You enjoy being a visible, hands on leader and the primary point of contact in a fast paced operational setting.

• Experience: Experience as a HRBP role within Logistics, Manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced industry.

• Independence: Proven ability to work autonomously and make real-time decisions in an operational environment.

• IR/ER Knowledge: Strong understanding of Australian labor law, Modern Awards, and workplace health and safety.

• Agility: A proactive mindset with the ability to navigate a growing organisation and a major global account.
